Gustavo Pinheiro is a screenwriter. He wrote the feature films Arcanos, A Tropa, Em nome da mãe and M.A.C.H.O., all in development in the production company Fafá Filmes and the short-feature A Lista, directed by Luciana Oliveira, with performance of Lilia Cabral and Giulia Bertolli, awarded at the international festivals SFAAF - South Film and Arts Academy Festival e Avanca Film Festival and nominated in the international festivals Short to the Point, MEDFF, Burbank International Film Festival e Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival of Miami.

On television, Gustavo was a screenwriter for the series Companhia do Teatro Brasileiro (Canal Curta, with premiere forecast in 2021), Reunião de Pais (with filming scheduled for 2022) and Lavando a Alma (Canal Mais Globosat).

In the theater, he produced the show A Tropa (winning text of the 7th edition of the Seleção Brasil em Cena, CCBB) and the reading of the text Castelo de Areia in the Cycle of Readings Every night are dream, directed by Victor Garcia Peralta. He was the author and producer of the play Alair and author of the plays Os Impostores, by Rodrigo Portella, Relâmpago Cifrado, by Leonardo Netto, Romeu e Julieta (e Rosalina), by Fernando Philbert, A Lista, by Guilherme Piva. He is also the author of the shows Antes do ano que vem, directed by Lázaro Ramos and scheduled to premiere in 2022, and translated the play Três Mulheres Altas, directed by Fernando Philbert and scheduled to premiere in 2022).

In addition to screenwriting, Gustavo has released two books: A Tropa (Editora Cobogó) and O menino que nunca sorriu e outras histórias reais (Editora Máquina de Livros).
