Rodrigo Van Der Put is a director, holding a degree from the Miami International University of Arts and Design, with a specialization in Editing from New York University. He won the 2019 International Emmy Award for Best Comedy with the Christmas Special "Se beber não ceie" from Porta dos Fundos.

With extensive experience in advertising, he has directed over 200 commercials for brands such as Coca-Cola, Google, Oi, Tim, MTV, Rede Globo, SC Johnson, Stihl, and others. In 2016, he founded the production company Epidemia Filmes to serve the music market. His music videos have garnered around 500 million views on YouTube.

He became a director for Porta dos Fundos in 2017. In addition to sketches, he directed special programs such as the short film "A Guiana Sumiu" and the Specials: "Se beber, não ceie", "A primeira tentação de Cristo" for Netflix, "Teocracia em Vertigem," released directly on YouTube, and "Te Prego lá Fora" for Paramount +. In 2021, he directed the channel's first reality show, "Futuro Ex-Porta," for YouTube Originals.

In partnership with Duda Vaisman, he directed the feature film "Juntos e Enrolados" for Imagem/GloboFilmes (2022), and in 2020, he directed the feature film "Detetive Madeinusa" for Amazon.

On television, he also directed the series "Alucinadas," "Aí Eu Ví Vantagem," and "Experimente" for the Multishow channel.

In 2022 he released "Eleita," a series for Amazon Prime that he co-directed with Carolina Jabor.
