Paula Knudsen
With 18 years of experience in television and cinema, Paula Knudsen is graduated in Journalism from the University of São Paulo and have a MFA in Film and Television Writing from the University of Southern California as a Fulbright Scholar. She brings in her curriculum two projects with International Emmy nomination.
Paula co-created “Julie e os Fantasmas”, aired on TV Bandeirantes and Nickelodeon in 2011. The series won the APCA award for best children's program and was nominated for an International Kids Emmy. She also wrote the script for the documentary “The Assassination of Jean Charles”, made for Discovery Latin America and nominated for an International Emmy in 2011.
Her most recent work is as a screenwriter on the series “As Micro Aventuras de Tito e Muda” (Glaz Filmes/Discovery Kids/TV Cultura), “Samantha!” - Season 2 (Los Braga/Netflix) and “Spectros” (Moonshot/Nettflix).
Her series as creator and head writer “Sentença” has just been announced by Amazon Prime.
