Mirella Façanha, from Brasilia who has lived in São Paulo for 12 years, is an actress, performer, director and playwright. Her research focuses on intersectionality as a trigger zone for new constructions of speech and subjectivity. Having studied Performing Arts at the University of Brasilia, and graduated from the School of Dramatic Art - EAD/ECA/USP - black, fat and sclerotic - she started in theater as a child and has been building her career in the performing arts for over 20 years.

In theater, she has worked with various directors such as Cristiane Paoli Quito, Hugo Rodas, Celso Frateschi and others. Her work uses dance, performativity and humor as a support for narrative construction. His latest works include the play "Isto é um negro?" (Is this a black man?) - presented in various cities in Brazil, European countries, Chile and Scotland - where she is an actress and playwright. The music video ''Psiu'', by Liniker - where she is the director and scriptwriter; the film ''Cidade; Campo'', where she stars in Juliana Rojas' new feature film (to be released); and the documentary ''Noiz é sempre um Ruído'', where she directs and scripts a process of dismantling the group ''E Quem É Gosta?'' - a theater group of which she was a member and founder with eight other artists, where they researched the scene from decolonial thoughts surrounding the myth of race.
