She holds a degree in Social Communication from the University of Amazonia (PA) and a degree in Dramatic Arts from USP's School of Dramatic Arts, having studied at Antunes Filho's Center for Theatrical Research.

She has acted in prestigious Brazilian films such as “O Som ao Redor” (2013, directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho), “Boi Neon” (2016, directed by Gabriel Mascaro), “Aquarius” (2016, directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho), and co-starred in the feature “Amor Plástico e Barulho” (2014, directed by Renata Pinheiro). Renata Pinheiro) - for which she received the award for Best Actress at the 46th Brasília Film Festival and the Brazilian Film Festival in Toronto - and starred in “Sugar” (2018, directed by Renata Pinheiro and Sergio Oliveira), among others.

In 2021, she starred in the films “Carvão” and “Quando Minha Vida”, both by Carolina Markowicz. In 2023, she starred in the film “Pedágio”, by the same director, for which she received the trophy for Best Actress at the Rio Film Festival for her performance.

Among short films, she starred in “Estátua!” (2014) by Gabriela Amaral Almeida, for which she received her second Candango for Best Actress at the Brasília Film Festival and also the award for Best Actress at Curta Cinema Rio de Janeiro.

She made her television debut in 2015 in João Emanuel Carneiro's soap opera “A Regra do Jogo”, directed by Amora Mautner. Also on TV Globo, Maeve took part in the productions “Onde Nascem os Fortes” (2018), “A Dona do Pedaço” (2019) and an episode of the series “Todas as Mulheres do Mundo” (2019). In 2023, she starred in the series “Os Outros” (TV Globo) and the series “DNA do Crime” (Netflix).
