João Jardim

João Jardim is a director and a screenwriter. His latest feature film Atravessa a Vida, released in cross-platform format, shows the search for teenagers for higher education. The educational issue was also the subject of the film Pro Dia Nascer Feliz. On television, João signed the direction and production of five series on the GNT Channel, available in streaming: Vítimas Digitais, Família é Família, Amores Livres, Compulsão e Liberdade de Gênero. He also directed the series Fantástico Nelson Por Ele Mesmo and directed four episodes of the series Por Toda a Minha Vida.

In the cinema, his first feature film, Getúlio, was acclaimed by critics and audiences, with more than 500,000 viewers. Directed Amor? and co-directed Lixo Extraordinário, an Academy Award-nominated brazilian documentary that won awards at festivals such as Berlin and Sundance. His first feature Janela da Alma is one of the most remarkable brazilian documentaries, awarded as Best Documentary at the São Paulo International Exhibition, among other awards. João is the director of a new film in development and creator and director of a series still in secrecy.
