Gregorio Duvivier

Actor, Presenter, Screenwriter and Writer

 

Gregorio Duvivier is a Brazilian actor, comedian, writer, screenwriter and poet, with a degree in Literature from PUC-Rio (2008). Together with actors Marcelo Adnet, Fernando Caruso and Rafael Queiroga, he was part of the cast of comedians in the play Z.É. Zenas Emprovisadas (2003-14), which ran for more than ten years across the country.

He is one of the creators and participants of the YouTube channel Porta dos Fundos, a project that also developed a program on FOX in 2014 and the show Portátil in 2016.

He has acted in and written television series and miniseries, such as Louco Por Elas (2012, Globo), As Brasileiras (2012, Globo), O Fantástico Mundo de Gregório (2012, Multishow) and O Grande Gonzalez (2016, Fox).

He has also acted in films such as The First Temptation of Christ (2019, directed by Rodrigo Van Der Put), Sorry to Bother You (2016, directed by Tomás Portella), Invisible Life (2019, directed by Karim Aïnouz) - winner of the main prize at the Un Certain Regard parallel show at the Cannes Film Festival.

The artist wrote the books From Tomorrow I Swear Life Will Be Now (2008), Connect the Dots - Love Poems and Big Bang (2014) and Put Some Farofa (2014), released with actress Fernanda Torres. He was a columnist for the Folha de São Paulo newspaper and presents the Greg News program on HBO.
