Writer and Screenwriter

 

Adriana Falcão is a screenwriter and writer. She graduated in architecture and also worked as an advertising copywriter. With an imaginative and humorous text, Adriana has released more than 10 books, including A Máquina – adapted for theater and cinema – and the best-seller Mania de Explicação and the book A Gaiola, nominated for the Jabuti Award and adapted by writer for the theater, winning a series of awards, such as Best Adapted Text at CBTIJ.

Adriana scripted important works for cinema, such as O Auto da Compadecida, written with João Falcão and the director Guel Arraes, O Ano em Que Meus Pais Saíram de Férias, Chega de Saudade e Pérola. On television, she wrote the phenomenon A Grande Família (Globo), a remake of the original from the seventies, and other series such as Mister Brau (Globo), Ilha de Ferro (Globo) and Filhas de Eva (Globoplay).
