Isabel Falcão

Screenwriter

 

Isabel Falcão began her audiovisual career working as a script intern at Porta dos Fundos in 2013 and as assistant director on “Phone Next Door”, a short film finalist in the international competition “Project: Direct”, held by YouTube in partnership with Sundance Film Festival. In 2020, she worked as a screenwriter for a series for streaming to be released, still under secrecy, and currently participates in the script room for a new series for streaming, also under secrecy.

For the theater, she co-authored the shows “Queda Livre” directed by Bernardo Jablonski and Fabiana Valor and “Jardim Secreto”, winner of the FITA Award for Best Children’s Show. Moreover, Isabel signs in partnership with Karen Acioly the text of a children’s show which will be released this year. In literature, she was co-editor of the anthology “Ironias do Tempo”, the last book by Luís Fernando Veríssimo.

Born in Recife, Isabel grew up in Rio de Janeiro, where she graduated in Letters from PUC and became a Master in Literature from UFF.
