Director, Screenwriter and Writer

 

Claudia Jouvin has been attending film sets since she was a little girl, taken by her father, Claudio Paiva, a writer and cartoonist, which led to her choice to attend film school, and her short-feature Velha História, narrated by Marco Nanini, won a number of awards at various festivals. On TV Globo since 2004, she has signed scripts for the acclaimed series Sob Pressão, Onde Nascem os Fortes, Cidade Proibida and the comedy series Mister Brau, A Grande Família and A Diarista.

Her first feature as a director, Um Homem Só, won several awards at the Gramado Festival. In 2021, she launched her second feature film, L.O.C.A. In the cinema, she often works with the director José Eduardo Belmonte, for whom she wrote O Gorila e Entre Idas e Vindas. Co-scripted the film Morto Não Fala of Dennison Ramalho and wrote with Fabio Porchat the film O Palestrante, to be released. Claudia has a short story released in the compilation Dez Contos de Terror and wrote the book Quem Está Chorando.
